Junior Golf Programs

Mission Statement:

"To provide high quality Professional PGA Instruction to all juniors and teach Life Lessons through the Game of Golf. To promote and grow Junior Golf Programs in the  Lehigh Valley and Berks County area."

First-Tee-Sittler Golf Academy provides a fun, challenging and fully interactive learning environment. Junior golfers will be provided PGA/LPGA instruction, daily practice, and challenging golf games and competitions. Golfers are placed into groups based on age and ability.

Beginner to intermediate players are taught the basic fundamentals of golf. From grip, posture & alignment to full swing, putting & chipping  Each day will include practice in the areas of putting, chipping and sand play. Safety, rules of the game and etiquette are all part of the curriculum.

Advanced players will receive instruction on developing a consistent golf swing and learn mental strategies that can be applied during a round of golf. Each day will include practice in the areas of putting, chipping and sand play. Rules of the game, etiquette and strategy are all part of the curriculum.

The ABC's of Golf (Ages 6-13) for Junior Golfers

5 One Hour Sessions $99

The ABC’s of golf is a great introduction to golfers age 6-13. We will give them a good basic understanding of the game of a lifetime and I’m sure that they will be hooked after attending these 5 sessions. They will learn the fundamentals, as well as safety and etiquette. We will give them an introduction to the First Tee program which instills the 9 core values, Honesty, Integrity, Sportsmanship, Confidence, Judgement, Respect, Responsibility, Perseverance, Courtesy.

Upon completing the 5 sessions the players will be prepared to advance to our Elements Camp, which is a 4 day event ending with a round of golf at a local course.

Elements (Ages 7-12) for Junior Golfers

4 day program: $219 (3 days of instruction at Sittler Golf Center & 1 day of tournament play at the local Golf Course)

Elements offers young athletes an opportunity to experience the wonders of golf in a fun and positive environment while participating in The First Tee Life Skills curriculum. Upon completion, campers will have experienced The First Tee PLAYer Level lesson plans which correlate to The First Tee Nine Core Values and gain golf fundamentals that are needed for entry into the Essentials Program at Sittler Golf Center.

Elements offers young athletes an opportunity to experience the wonders of golf in a fun and positive environment. This 4 day camp is designed to create more interest and develop further skills in beginner to intermediate golfers. The first 3 days, campers sharpen their skills under the watchful eye of our PGA Professional supervised staff. Instruction of and practice on skills and fundamentals, grip, stance, posture, pitching, putting and full swing. Day 4, they take their newly acquired skills to the first tee for on course play with the staff. At the end of the week we hope each of our campers leave with improved skills, more confidence, and more passion for the game.

Upon completion, campers will have the gained the fundamentals that are key for the Essentials Program at Sittler Golf Center.

  • Junior Golf Shirt with custom name tag (to worn at golf course)
  • On course instruction at Local Golf Course
  • Awards Ceremony (parents welcomed)
  • Friendly competitive skills contests to challenge each golfer
  • Miniature Golf Tournament
  • 25 Bonus Points with the purchase of clubs
  • 25 Bonus Points with attendance at Elements Camp
  • Dress and accessories: sneakers, comfortable shorts, cap and/or visor, sunblock
  • Equipment: golfers may be bring their own clubs. If they do not have clubs they will be provided

Essentials (Ages 9-14) for Junior Golfers

4 day program: $219 (3 days of instruction at Sittler Golf Center & 1 day of tournament play at the local Golf Course)

Essentials is for golfers with some prior playing experience or who have attended our Elements Program. An introduction into The First Tee Life Skills curriculum is combined in the 4 day camp. Upon completion, campers will have experienced The First Tee PLAYer Level lesson plans which correlate to The First Tee  Nine Core Values and gain golf fundamentals needed for entry into the Elite Program at Sittler Golf Center. Academic and golf skills assessment for placement into The First Tee Par Level will be considered for qualified campers.

Essentials is for golfers with some prior playing experience or have attended our Elements Program. This 4 day camp builds upon existing foundations. The first 3 days are specifically designed to help develop and improve the golfers swing, short game and course management skills. Day 4, they head to the course play 18 holes. This program also helps develop a positive attitude and teaches the rules and proper etiquette of the game.

Upon completion, campers will have the gained the fundamentals that are key for the Elite Program at Sittler Golf Center.

  • Lunch, Snacks and Drinks
  • Junior Golf Shirt with custom name tag (to worn at 4th day tournament play)
  • 18 hole golf tournament at Local Golf Course
  • Awards Ceremony (parents welcomed)
  • Friendly competitive skills contests to challenge each golfer
  • Miniature Golf Tournament
  • Dress and accessories: sneakers, comfortable shorts, cap and/or visor, sunblock
  • Equipment: golfers may be bring their own clubs. If they do not have clubs they will be provided

June 26, 27, 28, 29 8:30am - 1pm
July  10, 11, 12, 13 8:30am - 1pm

Elite (Ages 12-17) for Junior Golfers

4 day program: $425 (The Elite Program is 4 full days of intense golf with entry into The First Tee while experiencing their Life Skills curriculum at the PLAYer Level.)

Upon completion, participants will be assessed for placement into The First Tee Par Level through both academic and golf skills. This is the initial stage of The First Tee participant advancement which leads to dozens of scholarships and Academies sponsored by The First Tee national organization.  Eligibility for these opportunities is reserved for Birdie Level participants who meet academic standards and are minimum age 16 with three years of First Tee registration.

If you want to succeed in golf you need commitment, passion and a willingness to work hard. This is a 4 full days of intense golf with the focus on improvement and fine-tuning of skills. There are seminars, digital analysis and on-course instruction. An individualized program will be developed for each student. The mental side of the game will be addressed as well as proper practice routines and tournament preparation.

This program is great for the student who would like to try out for their High School Golf Team!

  • Afternoon on-course instruction and tournament play at various local golf courses

  • Equipment: golfers may be bring their own clubs. If they do not have clubs they will be provided
